Consent item: new defibrillators (AEDs) in the buildings and parks people already use.

Cintas would supply and service 11 units for three years: three at City Hall, one at the Farmers Market, three in parks (McGraft, Smith-Ryerson, Pere Marquette), three at Public Works, one at the water plant. Price on the form is $135 per unit per month — $17,820 a year, $53,460 over three years — plus a $400 credit for each old unit turned in. Cintas is on the state’s cooperative-purchasing list (MiDEAL). Staff say it is already in the budget. No amendment.

Vote: Yes or NO

A yes puts working AEDs in those buildings under one vendor. A no leaves the current setup in place.
